Deano Loan Extended

Ipswich Town striker Dean Bowditch has had his loan spell at Burnley extended until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old striker joined Burnley on a one moth loan last month but that has today been extended until the end of the season with Town having added in a re-call clause to the loan agreement should they need it.

Town manager Joe Royle has said: “He scored for Burnley at the weekend and by all accounts did well against West Ham last night so we are happy for Dean to stay there, It was all about the lad getting regular first-team football when he went there and that's what he is getting.

“He is there until May but we have an agreement that he can be recalled should we need him back quickly.”
