Westy: Still Work To Do

Ipswich Town midfielder Ian Westlake believes Town still have a lot of hard work to do if they are to get promoted this season.

Town moved into the second place after Tuesdays 4-3 win over Rotherham but the 21-year-old believes there is still work to do.

Westlake: “This is when it will really count.

“We have beaten Derby County and Rotherham at home this week and put ourselves in a great position for automatic promotion.

“We were expected to come out on top in these two matches.

“The hard work is still to come. We have Sunderland at home sandwiched between visits to Wolverhampton and Leeds.

“We know how tough Sunderland will be and at the start of the season we wouldn't have looked at Wolves and Leeds as must-win matches away from home.

“But it's looking as though we might have to. We will go to both places with a positive attitude. We know we can't relax for one second.”
