Couñago Recall?

Ipswich Town striker Pablo Couñago could be inline for a return to Town starting side following his display against Sunderland.

The 25-year-old striker made a rare appearance in Town’s first team during Sunday’s draw with Sunderland and set-up Darren Bent for Town’s leveller and with his name missing from tonight’s reserve team sheet it would appear Joe Royle is protecting the Spaniard from injury so he can play against Leeds United as Town try to score from open play for the first time in 4 away games.

Should Couñago start on Saturday it will be only his 6th start of the season which is still two less than Lewis Price.
