Price Pulls Out

Ipswich Town second choice goalkeeper Lewis Price has pulled out of a Welsh training camp to help Town in the play-offs.

Wales manager John Toshack had named the 19-year-old in a group he wanted to take with him for a six day training cup in Spain next week but Lewis who is established as the Under21 goalkeeper for Wales has decided to stay and help Town.

 

Town play the Hammers in the first-leg of the Play-Off Semi-Finals on Saturday at Upton Park with a 12:15 kick-off with the return at Portman Road on Wednesday, May 18 kicking off at 7:45.

 

In other news Darryl Knights has returned home Italy after going out of the European U17 Championships at the group stage.
