Hume And Coyne In?

Ipswich Town are being linked with Tranmere Rovers striker Iain Hume and Luton Town defender Chris Coyne.

The 21-year-old Canadian striker scored 15 goals for Tranmere this season and after Rover failed to get promotion it looks likely he could be on his way out of Tranmere and could be going to either Coventry City or Town.

 

The 26-year-old Coyne who plays for newly promoted Luton town in the centre of defense and helped Luton win league one while conceding just 48 goals along the way while scoring 5 himself.

 

I’ve heard that Hume isn’t exactly a big player and may find him self in the same boat as Dean Bowditch unless he can bulk up over the summer, but he snubbed Preston who could be playing premier league football next season so he may want to make the step to the Championship now rather than later if he would get first team action at Town would probably depend on either Bent or Kuqi leaving. As for Coyne with our leaky defence I would take pretty much any one and Joe Royle proved with the signings of Diallo and Santos he would as well.
