Joe: I Expect Changes

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle accepts there will be some big changes to his squad for next season over the summer, most of which may be over the next 2 days.
Six players are currently out of contract and Royle will be talking to them all over the next two days to determine who will be staying and who will be going.
“There will be movement, there has to be movement but sometimes change is good for a team, there will be changes, that is for sure and over the next 48 hours I will be in a better position to see what lies ahead.
“We can't wait around all summer to find out. We are not talking about giving players ultimatums but certainly I will say to the players please let me know as soon as possible what they intend to do.
“The worst thing that can happen to a manager is wait until the end of the summer before losing a player or not getting them and then finding their replacement has gone. We need early action.”
