Joe Expects Miller Exit

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle expects midfielder Tommy Miller not to sign his new contract and leave Town in the summer.

Royle: “I am aware of interest in Tommy from Sunderland and I can't say I am surprised. I suspect he may have another agenda.

 

“If I was the manager of a club going up to the Premiership and I saw that a 15-goal midfielder was available on a Bosman I would be very interested.”

 

Also expected to leave Portman Road this summer is striker Darren Bent who has handed in a transfer request and according to some reports Charlton have made a £3.2 million bid for the 21-year-old.
