Jim To Derby?

Rumours on the internet are suggesting that Town captain Jim Magilton has been offered a 2 year player/coach role at Derby County.

The 36-year-old has been offered a one year extension to his contract at Town and has stated in the past he wants to keep playing for as long as he can before taking up another role somewhere in the beautiful game.

 

Derby, managed by former Town manager George Burley finished forth last season and went out of the play-offs against Preston North End. Also part of the back room staff at Pride Park is Malcolm Webster Town’s ex-goalkeeping coach.
