Shefki Can Skip Service

Ipswich Town striker Shefki Kuqi will not have to serve 6-months in the Finnish army because he has a dual nationality.

The 28-year-old was likely to miss the start of next while doing national service in Finland but because he holds a Finnish passport and a Kosvoian one he is able to skip national service.

 

Although he won’t be serving Finland on the battlefield he will still be serving some on the football field when Finland play a friendly tonight and against a world cup qualifier next week against Holland.
