Kuqi Joins Blackburn

Ipswich Town striker Shefki Kuqi has today signed for premiership side Blackburn Rovers on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old got 20 goals for Town last season and although he was offered a new two year contract extension by the club he rejected it and today instead signed a 3-year-deal with Blackburn.

 

Kuqi joined Town in 2003 on a free-transfer from newly promoted Sheffield Wednesday and he got 32 goals in his two year spell at Portman Road.
