Iran Wanted Game

Ipswich Town have today announced they had to turn down a possible friendly with the Iranian national side.

Club secretary Sally Webb: “We were approached by the Iranian national team to play a game here.

 

“They are playing in Europe and were hoping to fix up a friendly but unfortunately we couldn't accommodate them because the timing was right for us.”
