New Pitch Being Laid

Ipswich Town's award-winning head groundsman Alan Ferguson is busy overseeing the new pitch being laid this week at Portman Road.

Ferguson has seen success 6 times while heads groundsman at Town is over seeing the work to replace the pitch from last season with a new pitch in time for Towns friendly with Rangers.

 

Ferguson: “It's a tight schedule because we have Rangers here next Tuesday night and we couldn't get started until the R.E.M concert finished, we will be working around the clock this week but I'm sure we'll have everything in place for that game.”
