Willie Wants Duo To Stay

Ipswich Town assistant manager Willie Donachie says he would like to see Rui Marques and Edwin Ouon kept on at Town.

Willie also admitted Town have looked at Rangers defender Maurice Ross, but finances at Town may rule out any move for the trio.  

 

Willie: “Maurice is a player we have looked at but finances dictate here at Ipswich that it would not be possible.

 

“It is down to Joe (Royle) the board and agents but I would like to keep them. I have seen quite a few worse triallists do a lot worse.

 

“They both looked decent players with good experience but it is hard to judge after one training session and one game.”
