Jim: I Was Nutted

Ipswich Town midfielder Jim Magilton says he was head butted during Town’s pre-season game against Ujpest yesterday.

Jim was sent off with 5 minutes to go against Ujpest after a bust with Ujpest striker Peter Rajezi, who he says head butted him.

 

Jim: “I was definitely the one sinned against rather than the sinner.

 

“The guy nutted me, and what is worse the linesman must have seen it but did nothing. All the way off the pitch the guy was saying 'sorry, sorry' to me so if I do miss those games I will be doubly mortified.”
