Madrid Squad

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle has named an 18 man squad for Friday nights friendly against Atletico Madrid.

Strikers Dean Bowditch and Nicky Forster have both been ruled out of the game because of injury, Dean has a bruised foot and Nicky has a thigh problem.

 

Darryl Knights has been promoted into the senior set-up is included in the squad, the first time he has been involved in the first teams since his debut at Sunderland.

 

Jimmy Juan and Kevin Horlock have both recovered from injuries which stopped them travelling to Hungary and are included in the squad as is trialist Sito Castro.

 

Town squad: Casement, Collins, Currie, De Vos, Garvan, Horlock, Juan, Knights, Magilton, McDonald, Naylor, Parkin, Price, Richards, Sito Castro, Supple, Westlake, Wilnis.
