No Major Damage For Lewis

The result of scan on Town ‘keeper Lewis Price’s knee has shown no major damage but he is a doubt for Town’s game against Sheffield Wednesday.
The 21-year-old ‘keeper was replaced by Shane Supple after 35 minutes of Town’s 0-0 draw with Leicester City on Saturday after injuring his knee and had X-rays on the injury after the game to reveal the extent of the injury.
Town physio Dave Williams: “There is no signs of structural damage which is a relief.
“We thought there might be ligament problems and that could have kept him out for several weeks but the scans have indicated that isn't the case.
“The knee is badly bruised though with some swelling and although it's early to make a judgment, normally you are looking at maybe seven to 10 days for a recovery period.
“I would say at the moment Lewis will be doubtful for next weekend and maybe the Carling Cup game on the following Tuesday.
“The injury also means we have had to pull Lewis out of the Welsh squad and they have been contacted.”
Lewis was expected to make his Wales debut against Slovenia in a friendly on Wednesday, If Price misses the Sheffield Wednesday game Town goalkeeping coach Andy Rhodes will on the bench with Shane Supple on goal.
