Dean To Start

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle has confirmed that young striker Dean Bowditch will start for Town against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

Dean will replace Nicky Forster who is out for anything up too six weeks after damaging knee cartilage in Town's draw against Leicester City last weekend.

Town manager Joe Royle confirmed this news saying: “Dean will start on Saturday. He has looked sharp and deserves his chance,he was among the goals in pre-season, got two for the reserves on Monday night and we know what he can do.

“He has the ability, the pace and is a good finisher but now it's time for him to take that step up and show consistency at first-team level.”
