Ipswich Town defender Jason De Vos says that Town’s players will want to put tonight’s defeat against Yeovil behind them at get 3 points on Saturday at Millwall.
De Vos who watched the game from the sidelines because of his rib injury said: “We've got to push that result to one side and concentrate on the next game.
“The boys and the manager will be disappointed to have lost especially as we never really looked dangerous despite passing the ball around well.
“We lacked that finishing edge but there's no point in dwelling on this result. The lads will go to the training ground and get their heads down and prepare for the next game determined to put things right.
“You have to give Yeovil credit, I felt they played really well and defended very well. Their midfielders tracked back to deny us and when they got the opportunities to score they took them.
“Looking at the positives - there were some very good performances. I thought Aidan Collins had a very good game coming in to the first team for the first time in two years and he never looked out of place.
“Sito was excellent at right-back again and proved that he is going to be an asset to the Club. I thought Fabian came in at the back and again showed his experience with another solid game. There were one or two others also; Kevin Horlock distributed the ball well.
“We lacked a physical presence up front so that's why the gaffer put Bam Bam up there for the second half where he won a lot of flick ons but it wasn't our night and occasionally you'll get games like that.”
