Team news and more ahead of Town’s championship game against Preston North End at Portman Road tomorrow (kick-off 12:45)

Town are with out Jason De Vos who is still not recovered from cracked ribs, Nicky Forster is also out but Richard Naylor should be able to play despite being sent off against Millwall on Saturday.

Expected Town squad: Dean Bowditch, Aidan Collins, Darren Currie, Owen Garvan, Kevin Horlock, Jimmy Juan, Jim Magilton, Dean McDonald, Richard Naylor, Sam Parkin, Jaime Peters, Lewis Price, Matt Richards, Louis Sito Castro, Shane Supple, Ian Westlake, Fabian Wilnis.

Preston travelled south with out Gavin Ward and goalkeeper Andy Lonergan who have shoulder and cruciate injuries and Callum Davidson is a doubt with a groin injury while Dickson Etuhu has recovered from an ankle knock and new signing Adam Nowland could be involved.

Preston manager Billy Davies: “We are down here looking forward to a wonderful game. It is on Sky and a good game for us to look forward to against a very good side. We are looking forward to it and we just need to continue to create chances and eventually we will put it in the back of the net.

“We'd rather not play right away, straight after Saturday, that's just football for you nowadays. We've got to accept that, there's no point grumbling about it, that's what happens with television.

“These things don't matter, we'll prepare for whatever game we've got to play, do the right things with rest and recovery and once we go down there we'll be ready for the game.”
