Bent In England Squad

Former Ipswich Town striker Darren Bent has been called into the senior England for their games against Wales and Northern Ireland.

Bent left Town and joined Charlton in the summer for £2.5million with extra money payable depending on appearances for England and Charlton, the fee is believed to be £500,000 if Darren plays in two competitive games for England. Bent’s Charlton team mate Luke Young is also included.

Bent earned this call up after scoring four goals in three premiership games.

 

England play Wales next Saturday in Cardiff and Northern Ireland on Wednesday in Belfast.
