Rhodes: Price Is Right

Ipswich Town goalkeeping coach Andy Rhodes believes that Town ‘keeper Lewis Price will be up to the job if called upon for Wales against England.

Price is in the squad to play against England on Saturday but does not expect to play but Rhodes believes Lewis would be able to do that job if needed.

 

Rhodes: “Lewis has never let anybody down in his career and if he gets his chance at the Millennium Stadium then Wayne Rooney and company will not have things all their own way.

 

“Lewis was hoping to make his full international debut in that match. Hopefully his injury will not have affected his standing in the Wales squad, the fact that we never brought in a new keeper when Kelvin Davis moved to Sunderland during the summer confirmed the faith we have in Lewis and Shane Supple at Ipswich.”
