No Complaints From De Vos

Ipswich Town defender Jason De Vos has no complaints following Town’s 2-0 defeat against Sheffield United earlier today.

Jason does however feel Town should have been awarded a penalty in the first half when he was pushed in the box by a Blades defender.

Jason: “It was a blatant penalty.

“There was no doubt about it and it was probably more of a clear cut penalty than the one we were awarded in the second-half.

“That's football though and over the course of a season the decisions tend to even themselves out.”

Jason was also surprised by Darren Currie not converting the penalty Town were awarded in the second half.

De Vos added: “Darren's a great striker of the ball and I would have put a fair few quid on him scoring from the penalty, their 'keeper made a decent save though and we just couldn't find a way past them after that.

“We passed the ball well but didn't get behind them enough and that is something we have to put right.”
