Ipswich Town striker Nicky Forster is hoping to be back inaction in two to three weeks following a cartilage operation.
The 32-year-old striker has been out since Town’s game against
Forster: “I have stepped up my rehab over the last week or two and although there has been the odd reaction, I'm making progress all the time, I have not lost any muscle strength in my leg and it's just a case now of letting nature take its course.
“The surgeon has looked at the knee and he's happy with the way the operation went and hopefully I will be back playing again in two or three weeks.
“I am generally fairly fit so my match fitness shouldn't be too much of a problem and I just want to get out on the pitch and help the team move up the table.
“We have had a reasonable start given the injury problems we've had and there is no reason why we can't start putting together a run of decent results and move into the Play-Off places.”
