Forster Back On Thursday

Ipswich Town striker Nicky Forster is hoping to return to training with the first team squad on Thursday as he continues to recover from knee surgery.

Forster has been out since Town’s game against Leicester City has been training with the academy squad this week and hopes to be training with the first team squad on Thursday.

 

Forster: “The knee feels fine and I'm stepping up the work now.

 

“The plan is to train with the youngsters while the first team is away and then join in with the seniors on Thursday.”

 

Forster should line up for Town’s reserve side on the 5^th of October and could make his first time return against his old club, Reading on the 16^th.
