Currie: It Was Hard Work

Ipswich Town goal scorer Darren Currie believes Town made hard work of today’s 2-1 win against Crewe at Portman Road.
Currie: “It was a very important goal, my first at Portman Road and it made it even more special that my baby daughter Bella was here for the first time as well, we made hard work of the game but most importantly we've got three points.
“We started off well but I think a little bit of nerves crept in. Clearly, we've done a lot of travelling in the past few days and one or two of the lads were probably a little tired. They're not excuses, they're facts.
“It was nice to see Fozzie come on; he gives us a different presence up front. Sam's a big man and we can play off him whereas Fozzie is always looking for the ball behind.
“Our midfield are all good enough to be able to find their man and that's what we did with his goal. I hope he stays out of the treatment room for the rest of the season.
“The mood in the dressing-room at the end of the game was one of excitement that we'd won and a little bit of relief.
“We made hard work of it but we created quite a lot of chances. All in all, we probably think that made more problems for ourselves than
