Garvan Back For Brighton?

Ipswich Town midfielder Owen Garvan has a small chance of returning to the Town starting line up against Brighton on Saturday.

Garvan injured his ankle against Coventry 9 days ago and he had to miss Town’s 1-0 defeat against Watford on Saturday but he might be able to play on Saturday.

Town Physio Dave Williams: “Owen has sprained the ligaments on the outside of his ankle, he is making progress and is back doing light running but no more than that at the moment.

“The joint is not up to the stress of changing direction so looking at it with three days to matchday, his chances of playing at Brighton are very slim.

“Hopefully he will be back in contention for the Derby game next Wednesday, which looks a much more likely return date.”
