Westy Back For Plymouth?

Ipswich Town midfielder Ian Westlake could make a first team return in next Saturday’s game against Plymouth Argyle.

Westy has been out of action since a training session back in September and he was originally expected to be out until around Christmas but he may be back in time for bonfire night.

 

Town physio Dave Williams: “Westy has made good progress recently and will step up his training at the weekend, he certainly won't be involved for the Brighton game and Derby next Wednesday will probably come too early for him when you consider he will have been out for near enough two months.

 

“The more likely comeback date will Plymouth next Saturday when, if all goes well during the week, he should be up to being on the bench perhaps.”
