Joe Backing For Sam

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle believes that Town striker Sam Parkin will go on to score more goals for Town after netting his fifth for Town today.
Parkin netted Town’s goals in today’s 1-1 draw with
Royle: “It was a great goal from Sam and he was unlucky with another that hit the woodwork, I have no doubts that the lad will score a fair tally of goals this season and I have been pleased with his efforts since he joined us.
“I'm sure he would loved to have scored some of the five he has got for us this season at home but they will come.
“Some of the fans have been on his back a bit at Portman Road but he's working hard for the team and I've been pleased with him.”
