Iranian Businessman Linked

Ipswich Town chairman says he has not ruled out the possibility of selling Town to Iranian businessman Kia Joorabchian.

Kia is part of the media sports investment (MSI) consortium which is reportedly interested in buying West Ham and already owns Brazilian side Corinthians.

 

Town chairman David Sheepshanks has not spoke to Kia but has not ruled it out, saying: “I’ve not approached him — but I’m perfectly happy to talk to the guy.

 

“Very often, people are intrested in making that kind of investment are only intrested in premierleague clubs.”
