De Vos On Reading Defeat

Ipswich Town defender Jason De Vos says Town’s players will be having sleepless nights after the shambolic display last night.

De Vos: “There will be a great deal of soul searching.

 

“We have time to reflect on games between matches and we will be giving this one a great deal of thought.

 

“There will be sleepless nights for the players. Our fans must have gone home disappointed, and I can assure them that we went home just as down.

 

“We cannot blame systems as it was 11 against 11 but we need to get on our bikes in training and sort things out.

 

“We have potential in the side, and this has come through in recent games. But we must find consistency.

 

“There was no lack of effort on our part but we never looked like scoring and can have no complaints at the score.”
