Preview: Cardiff – Town

Team news, manager previews, betting odds and the officials ahead of Town’s game against Cardiff at Ninian Park tomorrow night.

Town manager Joe Royle will be with out Sam Parkin who is out for the next three months with a broken ankle, Ian Westlake is out with a minor foot injury while Lewis Price, Sito Castro and Jimmy Juan are all minor doubts. Young striker Billy Clarke has been handed his first senior call up.

 

Town manager Joe Royle: “I expected Cardiff to do well. They have signed some good players and have the facility to bring players in.

 

“Dave Jones knows his stuff and he has brought in and, with Jerome up front, they were always going to be a danger.”

Dave Jones’ Cardiff face are short at the back for the game, Glenn Loovens is struggling with a groin problem while Darren Purse suspended. Midfielder Kevin Cooper is a doubt with a knee injury and striker Michael Ricketts has an ankle injury.
