Town Made Fowler Bid

It has emerged today that Town manager Joe Royle made a bid to sign former England striker Robbie Fowler on-loan.

Town made the attempt to sign the 30-year-old Manchester City striker just before the deadline for emergency loans expired last month and it is believed that Joe will make another attempt to bring the 3^rd highest scoring premiership scorer of all time to Portman road in the January transfer window.

 

It is highly unlikely that anything will come of the move because City manager Stuart Pearce has made it clear that Fowler is part of his plans at the City Of Manchester Stadium.
