Sereni Moving On?

According to reports in the local media former Ipswich Town goalkeeper Matteo Sereni could be leaving Lazio in January.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper left Town in the summer of 2003 and joined Italian Serie A side Lazio and now he is fed up of being second choice ‘keeper at the Stadio Olimpico behind Angelo Peruzzi and he is believed to be considering a move to Serie A side Cagliari

 

Sereni joined Lazio for an undisclosed amount but the deal did include a sell-on clause of 50% of any thing Lazio got for him if he was to be sold. January may also see Everton striker Marcus Bent move also landing Town a few quid.
