Skard Targeted By Spurs

Ipswich Town midfielder Vemund Brekke-Skard was a target of Premiership side Tottenham Hotspur after playing in a reserve team friendly against them.
The 24-year-old will join Town on the first of January after signing an 18-month contract earlier this year following a successful trial period while he was on trial with Town he played in a reserve team game against the Spurs second string and the following day they were making enquires about him.
Town’s chief scout Colin Suggett: “The day after that game we had Tottenham on the phone asking who he was and what his situation was.”
