Injury News

Ipswich Town physio Dave Williams has been kept busy recently with a number of injuries to Town’s squad, but the list should be clear soon.

Williams: “Dean Bowditch has been doing some light training and hopefully he will be okay for the Sheffield United match next week but the Portsmouth game is out, Fozzie is progressing well and hopefully will be stepping up his recovery on Monday. He will have a chance for Sheffield if everything goes to plan.

“Adam is definitely out for the weekend. He is doing some swimming but there is some swelling around the knee.”

But there is better news for Town towards the back as both Sito and Price should be fit enough to play against Portsmouth, Williams added: “Lewis has had a scan and there are no underlying problems. He's back in full training now and will be available against Portsmouth, Sito has a chance as well. He's been doing some light work and may train with the first-team on Friday. We'll have a look at him then.”
