Lee Move Closer?

Cardiff striker Alan Lee could be one step closer to joining Town from Cardiff after the bluebirds signed another striker.

Town Chairman David Sheepshanks is still in negations with his opposite number at Cardiff, Sam Hamman about the £200,000 transfer of the 27-year-old who appears surplus to requirements at Ninian Park with Steven Thompson and Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu both coming in and Michael Ricketts possibly returning from Leeds in appears that Dave Jones is well catered for in the striking department.

 

Unlike Town who have Richard Naylor joining the injured the list, short term at least after he limped off the pitch at full time against Portsmouth, Dean Bowditch might be back for Saturday’s game against Sheffield United and Joe Royle will hope to have Nicky Forster fit and maybe Alan Lee and one other striker in on-loan.

 

Royle: “We are still looking to bring in at least one, perhaps two, strikers. One on loan and one for a bit of cash.”
