Marcus Fee Agreed?

Former Ipswich Town striker Marcus Bent looks set to join Charlton Athletic in a move worth £2.5 million.

The 27-year-old striker has been unable to hold down a regular place at Everton this term and now looks set to leave Goodison Park and join-up with the former Town contingent at Charlton (Darren Bent, Darren Ambrose, Matt Holland and Herrmann Hreidarsson).

 

It has been reported that he will be travelling south today to discuss terms with the Addicks, if he does agree a move Town will be due a part of the transfer fee profit Everton make the exact amount has not been revealed.

 

Bent left Town in the summer of 2004 in a move worth £450,000.
