Proudlock Playing For Deal

Ipswich Town striker Adam Proudlock says he will be playing for his future at Town over the next three months.
The 24-year-old is out of contract in the summer and he wants to extend his stay at Portman Road beyond that.
Adam: “I know that I need to produce something special over the rest of the season to prove to the boss that I am worth keeping and I'm going to work my socks off to try and achieve that, there is still a slight discomfort in my knee but it's a lot better than what it was and I've had no reaction in training.
“The next three months are massive for me and I need to make them count. I couldn't afford to be spending it recovering from an operation because that would have seriously damaged my chances of getting a move here and meant I would have to spend next summer trying to get fit and find a new club.
“I'm desperate to be involved here and have to make sure that if I get a chance to show what I can do, I take it.”
