Fab Praise For Danny

Ipswich Town defender Fabian Wilnis has hailed Town striker Danny Haynes as the next Darren Bent.

The 18-year-old striker scored Town’s only goal in last nights 1-1 draw with Leeds United at Portman Road.

 

Wilnis: “Danny was unbelievable last night, he has all the attributes to go all the way and become our new Darren Bent.

 

“I feel the same way about him as I did Darren at the same age.

 

“Danny will keep his feet on the ground and be prepared to continue to listen and learn.

 

“I said to Danny at the interval to believe and a goal would come.

 

“Within five minutes I was congratulating him. It was a superb effort - and I am sure there will be many more to come.”
