Town Made Rossi Enquiry

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle has confirmed he did make an enquiry about Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi.

Joe did make enquires about the young striker but was told no by Manchester United, but Town are continuing the search for a new striker as cover for the injured Danny Haynes, Sam Parkin, Nicky Forster and Adam Proudlock.

 

 Joe: “We did ask about Rossi some while ago and it was a non-starter. It won't be him.

 

“I have two players in mind and I'm hoping to find out from their managers some time Monday. We don't have a long list. I would rather wait for the right person as we are going along quite nicely at the moment.”
