Danny Handed Goal

Ipswich Town striker Danny Haynes has been officially awarded Town’s winning goal against Norwich 9 days ago.

The 18-year-old striker bundled the ball into the net, but it may have been an own goal as Norwich defender Gary Doherty may have had the final touch.

 

A Football League spokesperson confirmed Danny would be given the goal, saying: “After seeing the incident again on the DVD supplied by Ipswich Town, we can confirm the goal will now be credited to Danny Haynes.”
