Danny: I Was Fouled

Town striker Danny Haynes feels he should have been awarded a penalty after being fouled by Luke Chadwick.
Although he accepts not getting the penalty he does not accept the score line or Town’s performance and he wants to put that right next weekend.
Danny: “The referee did well today but he did make a mistake when I was brought down in the box, I beat the player and he clipped my leg, he didn't get any contact on the ball and it was a definite penalty but the referee saw it differently.
“The overall result cancelled out my delight at scoring in front of the North Stand. We didn't really deserve to lose by that margin but we certainly didn't play at our best.
“Hopefully we can pick up from this, work hard in training next week and change things round for the next match.
“We owe it to ourselves and our supporters to do better than that next week.”
