Report: Town 1-4 Stoke

A late collapse by Town gifted Stoke 3 goals in the final 10 minutes as Stoke took all three points and four goals away from Portman Road.

The first half was goalless but the second half was a very different affair, Fabian Wilnis deflected the ball past Supple.

 

Danny Haynes brought Town level on 67 minutes when he bundled the ball home from 4 yards with three Stoke players all near by.

 

Sambegou Bangoura put the visitors back in front with 8 minutes to go, Luke Chadwick and Darrel Russell both made the most of defensive errors to give Stoke their 3rd and 4th goals.

 

The one positive from the game was young defender Chris Casement who only played the first half but he handled himself well.
