No To Trio

Ipswich Town manager Jim Magilton says former Town trio Tommy Miller, Jamie Clapham and Jermaine Wright will not be returning to Portman Road.

Clapham and Wright are available on free transfers while Miller could be allowed to leave Sunderland for nothing as they seek to trim their wage bill following relegation from the premiership, but sadly all three lay out of Town price range.

 

Town manager Jim Magilton: “Jamma is a player who did very well here and I'm a big fan of his, but he's out of our price range.

 

“It's the same with Tommy Miller and Jamie Clapham, who have been mentioned. Finances will always be the key factor in any deals we try to do. But we're not looking about an old boys reunion for next season. Just because a player used to be at Ipswich with me doesn't automatically mean he'll be coming back here.”
