Town manager Jim Magilton says the arrival of Steve Foley will help Town’s younger players develop.

Jim: “Bryan Klug first alerted me to Steve and after speaking to him and knowing what his track record is like in the game, we knew Steve was a guy we wanted at this Club, with his expertise, he can work right across the board here and we'll be coaching the senior players on a one to one basis as well as working with the Academy boys.

“We think we need someone to work closely with the boys in helping them adjust to the step up from Academy to first-team and Steve can provide that missing link.

“His knowledge of this division is also second to none from his 10 years or so at Norwich and he knows all the players, the formations and the tactics and we will use him in that area as well.

“He's a bubbly character who will be great to have around the place and I know the players will enjoy working with him. He's a great addition to the staff.”
