Miller, Malcolm and Birchall Linked

Tommy Miller, Bob Malcolm and Chris Birchall have all been linked with moves to Town by the media today.

Reports in the North East are suggesting that former Town midfielder Tommy Miller, who left Town last summer to join Sunderland on a free transfer may be on his way back to Portman Road on a free, with reports suggesting the new consortium that is ready to take over at the Stadium of light want to get rid of any dead wood which includes Miller who despite being Sunderland’s joint leading scorer last season.    

 

Rangers utility man Bob Malcolm could be available on a free transfer from Ibrox as it has been reported that new Rangers boss Paul Le Guen is happy to let him go, but should many clubs be interested he may command a small fee as he has a year left on his Rangers contract, he has scored three goals in 88 appearances for Rangers.

 

Port Vale and Trinidad and Tobago midfielder Chris Birchall has also been linked, the 22-year-old still has a year left to run on his contract at Port Vale it is believed he would cost Town somewhere in the region of £150,000.
