Bent To Toon?

Former Town striker Darren Bent is one of three players being linked with a move to Newcastle Unite to replace Michael Owen.

According to one of this mornings tabloids Newcastle are prepared offer Charlton £12million as they look to replace Owen, who will be out for around 5 months.

 

Should the transfer go ahead Town will land just under £1.5million from Charlton as part of the deal that took Bent to the Valley last summer.

 

Newcastle are also reportedly interested in Dean Ashton, Jermaine Defoe and Feyenoord striker Dirk Kuyt.
