Williams Training

Town midfielder Gavin Williams returned to training today following a lay off sustaining knee and ankle problems.

Gavin sustained the problems in Town’s 2-1 win against Norwich back in February with the knee injury cutting his season short, but he returned to full training today.

Gavin: “I had to have cartilage surgery in the end and it was a really frustrating finish to the season for me, injuries are the worst thing for any footballer and you miss the banter about the dressing-room as well as actually playing and training.

“I've been working through the summer with the physio team and fitness coach Simon Thadani to get back and joining in with the lads at pre-season was always my target."

Gavin could have trained yesterday but was attending his brothers wedding.
