Jordan's software engineers have been hard at work making modifications to the teams Launch Control system in a bid to get off the line faster.

Not only have the software engineers been at work but over the past three weeks, the design team have made some improvements to the chassis for the very individual character of the Hungaroring.

The team have been unable to test the modifications on track thanks to the FIA's imposed testing ban, however the team were able to use their wind tunnel to judge the performance of the new parts.

Gary Anderson:
"There have been minor modifications for the EJ12 since the last race,  this season we have had some glitches with race starts, and we have ironed those out now. We are always working to try and optimise launch control."

He added "The EJ12 has some small developments specific to the very individual track at Hungaroring. We will do a shakedown before we arrive in Hungary to check everything is OK, but the testing ban means developments have been limited to the wind tunnel."
