Jordan to confirm Ford Cosworth for 2003
Deal Done?

The BBC report that Jordan have secured a deal to use Ford Cosworth engines for three years from 2003. Ford will therefore be battling on the track with their own brand Jaguar who will use the same engine.
Jordan has been very cagy about their engine supplier for 2003 when it became fairly obvious that they weren't happy with the terms of their contract with Honda for 2003. It is believed that Honda wanted Jordan to pay for their engines next year.
Eddie Jordan is due to confirm this and to end months of speculation about a Cosworth deal at about 10am (BST) today. As soon as we get the news, we'll let you know.
This must however mean the end of Takuma Sato's Jordan career. Personally, I would like to see Eddie keep his contract with Taku who has shown more and more promise as the season has gone on. Speculation must however turn to who will be in the driving seat of the number two EJ13.
